Welcome to the only official website for Golborne Athletic Ladies and Golborne Girls Football Club.
Established in 2003 our players range from 6 years of age through to Womens Open Age.
Training starts at present from 6 years of age and individuals can start playing in teams from the age of 7 in development football with the Wigan and District Girls Football League.
To make it easier for you around the site we identify the Athletic Ladies as the Ladies Section and the Juniors as the Girls Section.
Our aim is to provide an opportunity for girls of all ages and ability to learn, develop and utilise their skills in a safe and controlled environment.
Our main training ground is located in Golborne near Warrington at Golborne Sports and Social Club.
Training sessions take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays dependent on age.
In 2009 we became a Charter Standard Club with The Football Association and will continue with the high standards and policies adopted in our efforts to obtain this award.
