With the last six months of hard work finally coming together, it was a relief to see things finally take shape.
DJ for the night was again Martyn Ode, who was fantastic as our mid season party DJ back in January....if you need his number, let me know!
Again he didn't fail to deliver once again a sensational night had by all.
With DJ, Buffet and Trophies all in place, all we needed was the good people of Golborne Girls FC to turn up....and what a turn out it was!
With people arriving from 7.30pm, Chloe and her little helpers had a busy time selling the raffle tickets for some great prizes that we had to offer.
Prizes consisted of
A chocolate hamper
A signed Man Utd Pennant
A family ticket to the Man City Stadium Tour
A signed Steven Gerard framed photo (Liverpool)
A signed Mikel Arteta framed photo (Everton)
A charcoal BBQ
A box of beers
The raffle unfolded a series of good will stories.....Abbi Boyle, after getting a winning raffle ticket, went straight for the Everton picture and gave it to her team mate and friend, Megan Clarke who is a hugh Everton fan and was desparate for the signed photo.....it was a touching moment.
In another instance, John Boyle offered to sell his winning Man City stadium tour ticket to Dave Russell, who is a hugh City fan, with proceeds to go to the club......Dave offered double Johns asking price.....what a man!
Many thanks to the various Premiership clubs for their support, "The Chocolate Gallery"(www.chocolate-gallery.co.uk), Asda Golborne,Thorntons and parents of players who donated prizes for the night.
Lyndon was again, MC for the night....another great job from the Club Chairman.
Lyndon opened the night by thanking the seasons sponsors and welcoming our new sponsors for next season in NIC,Twist Property Maintenance and Lindleys Catering.
Lyndon started the award proceedings in the age catagories of U8, U10 and U13

Katie won "Most improved Player" after showing her coach how much she can play football once she puts her mind to it.

Lastly but no means least was the Sponsors Award.
Gerry from Microsystems Uk was in attendance to recieve a sponsors award for his companys part in making Golborne Girls FC more affordable by sponsoring the girls U10's kit and presentation night trophies.
Lindleys where unable to attend recieve their award for again sponsoring the nights buffet. We will be using Lindleys name on the U13's kit for next season.
Trebaron Garden Center where also unable to attend the night....they have been our biggest event supporter this season and desreve this recognition.
Onto the bufftet.....Lindleys again providing an excellent spread.
With formalities over, its onto Martyn to take the night into overdrive.
With party games and an enthusiastic audience, many a laugh was had throughout the night and once again the night was hugh success.
Thank you to all who made this a night to remember.....a night that will stay in your childs memory for years to come.
With all the hard work made worth while its time to think about next season!!!
