Like any club of this kind we are dependent on fundraising activities or donations for the club to function.
We have to cater for all our members needs with regards training areas, training equipment, match fees, match kits, league fees, pitch fees, affiliation fees together with insurance and administration costs.
We have no paid members of staff, basically all money raised is put back into the club to the benefit of our players.
Whilst our members pay a yearly registration fee and weekly subscriptions we try to keep this as low as possible to make it affordable to our local community.
Generally we try to work a season in advance so that realistic fees and the necessary equipment and pitch spcae are already in place.
As you can appreciate this great in theory and it is hard work to raise the profile of the club and find donations in the current economic climate.
We are always looking for new ideas, sponsors, prizes, donations, help and volunteers.
When events are organised they are 'open' events where we encourage as many people to support our club as possible. With such a small club we need the support of members, family, friends, neighbours, even your boss!!!!!
