A: We start girls from 6yrs old although they are not allocated a team untill they are old enough to enter into an U8 team.They are put into a development group which will teach them the football basics.
A: Definately not. Girls are welcome to our club irrispective of ability and standard.Our coaches use techniques which delvelop each childs skill and at the same time makes learning football fun!
A: Basically the first TWO training sessions are FREE just to see if your daughter likes it. After that our training sessions are charged at £2.00 for one training session or £3.00 for the two sessions that we hold each week. Alternatively we have a value deal of £10 per month. Club registration is £25 per child. (No cost if under 8yrs).
Players that TRAIN ONLY are required to complete a membership form, but are not required to pay the £25.00 membership fee but would be subject to training sessions fees as detailed above.
A: Where possible we look for sponsors to support our club to provide kit for the teams.(Kit remains property of the club and should therefore be returned should your daughter decide to leave the club). Items such as football boots and shin pads would normally be provided by youself. Kits are only issued to playing members whom have paid their membership fee for the season.
A: Training is held at Golborne Sports & Social Club at 6pm-7pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights.Winter training is switched to an indoor facility.
League matches are arranged for Saturday or Sundays throughout the season.Kick Off times may vary.

Q: How do I know my child is in a safe environment?
A: A safe environment is number one priority at Golborne Girls FC.
Each age band has a leading coach whom is qualified to at least FA L1 standard, completed the safeguarding children course and holds a valid first aid certificate.
All our volunteer staff and club officials hold an FA Enhanced CRB Certificate.
We have an FA Approved and Qualified Child welfare Officer.
We hold a First Aid kit at all our sessions and games for any minor injuries.

Q: How can my daughter join Golborne Girls Football Club?
A: If you are interested in joining the club, you can either contact Steve Nathaniel or just come down to training on Tuesdays or Thursdays 6pm-7pm
Just ask for Steve and he will come over to you and introduce you to the club.
