About Us
Golborne Girls are a football club for girls, established in 2003. Teams range from Under 9's up to Under u18s. Our aim is to provide an opportunity for girls to play football in a safe and competetive enviroment.
Our u9's team will be playing in the newly formed Wigan & Leigh girls League, all other teams play in the West Lancashire Girls League.
Our team managers are at least Level 1 coaching qualified and have the required First Aid and Child Protection certification.
The club has a level 3 coach,2 x level 2 coaches and 6 x level 1 coaches, all of whom have complete a CRB check and child protection course.We are working towards achieving the FA Charter Standard Award.
Training is at Golborne Sports Club, off Stone Cross Lane, Golborne
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6.00pm till 7.00pm
Youth Team - Wed 7.45pm - 9pm
